Thai Fried Bananas
Based on a Recipe by Paula Deen seen on Food Network, June 25, 2007
3 Tablespoons butter
4 fresh firm, ripe bananas, peeled and cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces
¼ – 1/3 brown sugar
1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
1 lime, juiced
In a wok or large saucepan heat butter. Once melted, add bananas and toss around a bit. Then add the brown sugar and cook the sugar down a tad. Next add the black sesame seeds and the lime juice. Stir together and serve.
**This would be wonderful served over vanilla ice cream. I like Breyers low-fat Vanilla Bean. Yum!
