I have a sneaking suspicion most of think our shrimp come from sources like the picture above. But, that’s not necessarily so. A lot of shrimp we buy and eat nowadays are pond raise and fed and many times chemically enhanced.
If you get shrimp from a source like the boat above, you’re getting the real deal. In Georgia folks call their shrimp wild Georgia Shrimp. They are fresh, sweet and will melt in you mouth…and chemical free…and low-fat, packed with protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Sounds like a justifiable prescription for Scampi in my humble opinion.
